Claire Tomlin
Claire began her career in 1996 after graduating from Trinity College, Cambridge. She worked in physical oil trading at Shell, then held senior roles at Russian and African trading companies before founding Clarion Search in 2015, focusing on executive search in energy markets.
Hannu Koivusalo
Hannu started his career at Shell International and later held various roles at Statoil, Borealis, and Gazprom, where he focused on lighter oil products. He joined Clarion Search in 2016 to effectively leverage his extensive expertise in the energy sector.
Ran Qin
Ran is an experienced headhunter specializing in energy trading, particularly in the areas of Gas, Power, and LNG. With a Master’s degree in accounting and finance, she recruits top talent for leading energy companies, ensuring they find the best candidates to meet their needs.
Candice Colin
Candice has over 10 years in banking, including six years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Her interest in energy led her to a Commodities Search Firm, where she met Claire and joined Clarion.
Maarit Makinen
Maarit transitioned from metals and mining to oil trading in 1997 with Greenergy Baltic. After Greenergy’s acquisition by Enron, she moved to senior trading positions in London.
Steven Xie
Steven started his career at the PRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs and later joined Sinochem as an oil trader in 1992. He worked across Beijing, California, and Singapore.
