Clarion has been a consciously diverse, sustainable, and considerate business since its inception in 2015.

We have a balanced management team, a ‘no filter’ approach to candidates and clients, actively organise and speak at diversity events in the energy industry (Clarion are the organiser of ‘Women in Oil’ in London/Singapore and Women in Power in Dusseldorf in conjunction with Shell).

We have huge cultural diversity within the company everywhere from South Africa to Scotland to Finland to China. Our choice to support charities focusing on education for women and underprivileged children reflects this.

Diversity to us means we find better candidates as we do not discriminate at all, in fact – the more variety the better and our clients agree – diversity of thought means better decisions which in turn means more dynamic and successful businesses.

Sustainability

Equally, we have made sure we are a sustainable business

Not only is that reflected in our choice of charities (the conservation of wildlife and nature is the focus of our other supported charity) but we also have ‘double offset’ our carbon footprint since 2020 with the aid of GoGreen Experts, a specialised environmental consultancy company supporting SMEs and we are pleased to say we are carbon neutral.

More importantly, each year we try to ensure we use less and less impactful energy and resources to reduce our carbon footprint on a continuous basis.
